Depalpur, Okara – July 8, 2026: Two people lost their lives and three others were injured in a tragic road accident involving two motorcycles near Gujjar Chowk on Ratta Khanna Road in Depalpur, according to Rescue 1122.
Rescue officials said they received an emergency call reporting a collision between two motorcycles. Rescue 1122 teams responded immediately and reached the scene to provide emergency assistance.
The injured victims were given first aid at the accident site before being shifted to THQ Hospital, Depalpur for further medical treatment. The bodies of the deceased were also transported to the hospital after completing the necessary legal formalities.
The deceased have been identified as:
- Ishtiaq, son of Imam Din, approximately 50 years old
- Farooq, son of Bashir Ahmad, approximately 22 years old
Both victims were residents of 31/2-L, Depalpur.
The condition of the injured has not yet been officially disclosed. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
