The District Administration, in collaboration with the Forest Department, has launched a large-scale tree plantation campaign across Okara to promote environmental conservation and combat climate change.
Thousands of saplings will be planted in schools, public parks, government offices, and along major roads. Officials encouraged citizens, students, and community organizations to actively participate in the campaign.
Environmental experts said increasing green cover would help improve air quality, reduce pollution, and create a healthier environment for future generations.
